Case shift 7
Pull the shifter all the way, so the syncro locks up with the stationary gear. You'll need it locked for the next step, installing the rear bearing.
You may have to tap the inner end of the shift shaft w/a mallet to get the syncro to shift. Without the mechanical advantage of a shift lever, it's difficult to move by hand.
